BCD Life Coaching (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website bcdlifecoaching.com. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit or contact us, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

We collect only what is necessary to respond to your inquiry and operate this site. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Contact form

When you submit the contact form on this site, we collect your name, email address, and the message you provide. We use this information solely to respond to your inquiry. We also collect your explicit consent at the time of submission.

Cookies

We use a single cookie (bcd-cookie-consent) to remember whether you have acknowledged our cookie notice. This cookie contains no personal information and is not used for tracking or advertising.

Server logs

Our hosting provider (AWS Amplify) automatically records standard server log data, including your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and the date and time of your visit. This information is used for security monitoring and diagnosing technical issues. We do not use it to identify individual visitors.

How We Use Your Information

• To respond to messages submitted through the contact form
• To maintain the security and performance of this website
• To remember your cookie consent preference

We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or automated decision-making.

How Long We Keep Your Information

Contact form submissions are received by email and retained only as long as needed to address your inquiry. Server logs are retained for up to 90 days. Cookie consent data is stored in your browser and expires after one year or when you clear your cookies.

Third-Party Services

We use AWS Simple Email Service (SES) to deliver contact form messages. Your name and email address are transmitted through this service to deliver your message. AWS does not use this data for its own marketing purposes.

In the future, we plan to integrate a scheduling tool (Calendly) that may set additional cookies and collect information subject to its own privacy policy. We will update this policy before that integration goes live.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Know what personal information we hold about you
• Request that we delete your personal information
• Opt out of any future use of your information beyond responding to your inquiry

Security

We take reasonable technical measures to protect the information you share with us. This site is served over HTTPS and hosted on AWS infrastructure with access controls in place. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we take the protection of your data seriously.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information through this site, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect the date of the most recent revision. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
